The following was Agreed at the County Council Meeting on 10 July 06

"That the Council approve the Part 8 proposal as presented by the Manager for the road from Keating's Park to the Western boundary of the amenity lands. The first phase for the construction of this road to commence from the Council / GAA lands.
The remainder of the proposal to be eliminated from the Part 8 and a further study to be carried out for this area on completion of the Naas Road works and Phase 3 of the Outer Ring Road ie Grange Castle / Naas Road interchange to the Tallaght By - Pass".

Present Position:  January 2012 - Further progress on this road scheme can only proceed when resources become available.
