Wainsfort Road Cycle Track

Description: Construction of on road one way cycle track 1.5m wide and marked in red surfacing on both sides of Wainsford Road along it's entire length.

Funding: 90% DTO and 10% Council Contractor: SMC Group

Present Position: Completed June 2004.

Tymon North Distributor Road Cycle Track

Description: Construction of one way on road cycle track 1.5metre wide marked in red surfacing on both sides of Tymon North Distributor Road.

Funding: 90% DTO and 10% Council

Public Consultation Procedure: Decision to proceed made at County Council Meeting on 8th July '02.

Present Position: July 2010 awaiting funding from D.T.O.

Old Bawn Road Cycle Track

Description: Construction of one way on road and off road cycle track 1.5 metre wide marked in red surfacing on both sides of Old Bawn Road.

Funding: 90% DTO and 10% Council

Public Consultation Procedure: Decision to proceed made at County Council Meeting on 9th February '04.

Present Position: July 2010 awaiting funding from D.T.O.

Mayberry Road Cycle Track

Description: Constuction of one way road cycle track 1.5 metre wide marked in red surfacing on both sides of Mayberry Road.

Funding: 90% DTO and 10% Council

Public Consultation Procedure : Decision to proceed made at County Council Meeting on 9th February '04.

Present Position: July 2010 awaiting funding from D.T.O.

Dodder Park Road Cycle Track

Description: Construction of on road one way cycle tracks 1.5m wide and marked in red surfacing on both sides of road from Rathfarnham Road to Woodside Drive.

Funding: 90% DTO and 10% Council Contractor: Clonmel Enterprises Ltd

Present Position: Completed June 2004

Ballyroan Cycle Track

Description: Constuction of on road one way cycle tracks 1.6m wide and marked in red surfacing on both sides of the road between Ballyboden Road and Firhouse Road.

Funding: 90% DTO and 10% council. Contractor: SMC

Present Position: Completed August 2003

Airton Road Cycle Track

Description: Construction of on road one way cycle tracks 1.5metre wide marked in red surfacing on both sides of Airton Road.

Funding: 90% DTO and 10% Council

Public Consultation: 16th February 2004 Leaflet distributed to all premises along the route. Closing date for submissions 4.30pm 5th March 2004.

Present Position: July 2010 Design of proposed cycle track being reviewed by DTO.
